The cast of circus artistes is a cast like no other; they are willing to push the boundaries of what you believed possible, working together
to bring outstanding acrobatics into reality, both on the ground and in the air.
This, paired with their fresh theatrical talents and comic timing, has created a show you won't want to miss.
The story on and off-screen
Ideal for all the family, the show depicts Bert - a socially inept outsider - doing his best to go unnoticed and make it through life unscathed.
His sometimes dysfunctional family is about as far apart on the social ladder as you can get, and is repeatedly throwing him headfirst
into situations he would rather avoid.
Things become complicated when Sally, Bert's sister, comes home with Lucy.
Try as he might to continue with his lonesome life, Lucy is just too bright and bubbly for him to ignore.
Will he conquer his fear of human interactions and ask her out or will his phobia of the outside world keep him alone forever?'Bert' is described as a 'hilarious circus show' for all ages to enjoy.Pokya Entertainment is a local circus company founded here in Cornwall by Liam Jones, a circus artist who grew up in the Cornish
countryside and has spent the past 10 years travelling the world performing.
The show will be running in four locations in Cornwall from June 26 to August 29, 2021, including Wadebridge, Penzance, Falmouth and Bude.
There will be popcorn, ice cream and a fully stocked bar at most of the shows to give you the full circus experience.
